With Lutein and Zeaxanthin Why Macula Saffron? Macular Saffron, the dried stigma of the crocus flower, is a spice, traditionally used for cooking as well as health reasons. Macular Saffron bitter taste comes from the unique chemicals and the strong antioxidants it contains; picrocrocin, crocin, and safranal. Saffron is the subject of the latest research. Lutein and zeaxanthin are carotenoids found in the macula region of the eye. These carotenoids play a very important role in the vision function of the eye and they can only be supplied from our diet. They are found in many green vegetables.
Macular Saffron INGREDIENTS Togetes erecta (Marigold) powder, (natural source of Lutein and Zeaxanthin), Crocus sativus (Saffron) 20mg per capsule, Calcium hydrogen Phosphate, Cellulose. DIRECTIONS Store in a cool, dry and dark place.
